No Small Matter / Kid Experts

No Small Matter is a feature-length documentary film and national engagement campaign produced by the Kindling Group and Siskel Jacobs Productions. The goal of this project is to bring public attention to the importance of high quality, affordable early childhood care and education, take a closer look at why millions of American children are still not getting the care they need to succeed, and show the potential for good quality early care and education to benefit America’s social and economic future.

As part of the national engagement campaign, Kid Experts was a concept for a web series to be released prior to the feature-length documentary. The series would be a set of explainer videos where real kids explain in an informative and playful way how certain activities, such as reading, can impact a child’s growth and development.
